If you’ve been following Disney Vacation Club you’ll know that there has been massive upgrades across the system!
Disney Vacation Club or DVC for short is Disney’s version of a timeshare where members pay for a certain amount of points and can spend those points every year for 50 years after a resort opens to get rooms.
The points can be interchanged to be used among 16 current resorts across 4 states. There’s one on the way which is the Villas at the Disneyland Hotel making this soon to be 17 resorts. For any die hard Disney fan, this is a great way to save in the long run
Not surprisingly there are 13 resorts in Florida, 1 in South Carolina, 1 in Hawaii and soon 2 in California.
Well surprise! Today DVC announced tentative plans to remove and renovate the cabins at Fort Wilderness to become exclusively DVC. They will be called the Cabins at Fort Wilderness! The cabins are large enough for 6 people making it roughly between a 1 Bedroom and 2 Bedroom for occupancy. It will feature a bedroom, kitchen, living area and will be exclusive per cabin!
Fort Wilderness is in the Magic Kingdom area between Bay Lake Towers and Polynesian. To the right of that Cooper Creek and Boulder Ridge, and even more to the Right South is where Fort Wilderness is! If you look on you My Disney Experience application, there’s a white maze area and the cabins that are right under. This is the site of The Cabins at Fort Wilderness.
Below is a publicly announced artist rendering of the cabins for your viewing pleasure
what do you think are you going to buy?!?!?!
